Marcia + Justin
I had the pleasure of meeting Marcia and Justin in my studio for their consultation. I could tell right away they were comfortable with one another and had been together for quite some time. When they told me their venue, I couldn’t have been more excited - The Barn at Sycamore Farms is spectacular. They told me about their 1920’s black and gold theme. They also told me about how Marcia’s father had passed away and that they wanted his memory honored during their big day.
We started our day off with the groomsmen posing with an awesome card table. Then, we took to the veranda for the rest so that we could stay out of the morning rain.
After finishing up with the guys, we caught up with Marcia & her bridesmaids in the bridal suite. While there, her mom presented her with an aisle runner decorated with her father’s pictures and a special message so that he could still be with her as she took her walk down the aisle. She was also given his lucky coin. *Now is a good time to grab your tissues.
A steady drizzle stayed with us the majority of the day, so Patrice - Marcia’s coordinator - made the call for a seamless transition for a ceremony on the veranda.
The reception was filled with dancing, toasts, laughs, and cake in places not meant for cake.
At the end of the day, we saw the newlyweds off with some bubbles… Thank you Marcia & Justin for allowing Julie & I to be a part of such a gorgeous day! We loved it!
