Nashville, TN Wedding Photographer | Christy + Sean's Wedding at Cactus Creek Barn in Dickson, TN

Christy + Sean’s Wedding at Cactus Creek Barn in Dickson, TN was nothing short of a fairytale!

It was Tennessee hot - and if you stepped outside for 5 minutes, there was enough moisture in the air to make it look like you’d been for a swim in the creek behind the venue. But you’d never know it looking at these photos. Why? Because these two couldn’t have been happier to be marrying their best friend.

The decor was mainly whites and greenery with sage accents. And it was perfectly elegant in its simplicity.

Christy was stunning in her gown! I loved every lace detail.

And Sean & the groomsmen kept us laughing… make sure you look close in the group photos :-)

And have you ever seen such a proud mama?

I loved being able to photograph them receiving their gifts from one another.

Christy and Sean wanted to keep it traditional by not doing a first look before the ceremony. But their first touch did not disappoint and I may have teared up a little…

The ceremony was a beautiful reflection of the couple. They wrote their own vows as well.

The incredible cakes were created by the wickedly-talented Vintage Cupcake Co.

I finalllllyyyyy got in the creek (for the shot of course ;-) )

Connie (the owner of Cactus Creek) & her husband were WONDERFUL! It seemed like every time I was even about to need something, Connie popped up from nowhere and made it happen. They were so helpful and pleasant. 10 out of 10 recommend their venue and I hope I get to shoot their again very soon!!!

One of my favorite parts of the day is showing the couple their same day slideshow!!!

Thank you SOOO much, Christy & Sean for letting me be a part of such a magical day! I hope you loveee your blog images!!!!
